This first A330neo is leased from Avolon. It comprises 298 seats including 34 seats in Business class, 96 seats in Premium Economy class and 168 seats in Economy class.

TAP Portugal is expected to receive 37 new aircraft in 2019 including several A320neo and A321LR. It has ordered 10 A330 Neo and is going to lease an additional 11. It plans to operate up to 15 A330neo in May 2019 and 19 by 2020. 90% of these aircraft will replace older models, as part of a plan to reduce the average age of its fleet from 15 to 7 by the end of 2019.

The A330neo offers passengers a quieter flight (50% quieter than Boeing’s Dreamliner according to Airbus), germ-fighting lavatories, more storage space for bags, LED accent lighting and, a cutting-edge in-flight entertainment options.
