AirHelp has released its annual rankings of the best airlines and the best airports in the world. Qatar ranks number 1 in both rankings.

With an overall score of 8.23, Qatar Airways has surpassed all its competitors and was rated best airline in the world. American Airlines, Aeromexico, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Qantas and LATAM Airlines scored above 8.0 and are ranked among the five best airlines in the world.

Qatar seems to have found the perfect recipe to satisfy its customers in the air travel industry. Hamad International Airport in Doha (Qatar) was ranked best airport in the world in 2019. It is the second time in a row that Hamad International Airport ranks number 1. Hamad International Airport has been acclaimed for the quality of its services, its restaurants and its many shops. It’s also been acclaimed as one of the most beautiful airports in the world in 2019. Hamad International Airport shares its #1 ranking with Haneda International in Tokyo, which has also been recognized as one of the best airports in the world in other rankings. Next are Athens International Airport (Greece) (third) and Afonso Pena International Airport in Curitiba, Brazil (fourth).
